NSW airfields with photos : these are from RAAF Publication  184a and are more detailed than the general entries.

These were in the Butler subcollection at AAMB in a thick folder, of pages half-foolscap in size, and give details of landing grounds that were in use in the pre-war and World War II years. They cover the mainland areas and a some fields in New Guinea. Many of these airfields have since been built upon, but some have gone on to become major aerodromes.

Mike McGree at AAMB did a lot of work in organising these files. They print well on A4 pages.

The airfields are listed in alphabetic order, but because there are nearly 500 files it is difficult to find a particular file. This list of files listed by state or territory will help you find a file name that you can search in the List of data sheets and NSW airfields with photos .
